The right approach for your garden

A garden does not always need the same kind of intervention.

Some need to be reconsidered from the ground up. Some need a few important decisions resolved. Others already have good bones, but need knowledgeable, consistent care to help them flourish.

Our services offer different levels of support, but the thinking behind them is the same: we begin by understanding your home, your garden and how you want to live with it, then work out what the space genuinely needs.

You do not need to arrive with all the answers. That is rather the point.

Garden & Landscape Design

A full garden design gives us the opportunity to consider the space as a whole: its relationship with the house, the views from within it, how you move through it, where you gather, how it will be built and planted, and how it needs to work in everyday life.

We don't begin with a house style or impose a ready-made solution. We begin with you.

Through a collaborative design process, we explore the possibilities, test ideas and make considered decisions until the garden feels resolved- right for the architecture, right for its setting and, importantly, right for the people who will live with it.

The result should not simply be a garden that looks beautiful on a plan. It should feel as though it belongs.

Garden Designer Consultancy

Not every garden needs a full design commission. Not all clients want a full bespoke Garden Design

You may have a garden that broadly works but can't quite see how to improve it. Perhaps there is an awkward area to resolve, planting that isn't coming together, several ideas competing for attention, or simply rather too many decisions and no obvious place to begin.

Garden Consultancy gives you focused time with an experienced designer to look at the space properly, talk through what is and isn't working, explore possibilities and establish a clearer way forward.

Sometimes tapping into expert advice and discussion is what a garden project needs.

Ongoing Garden Care

Gardens, rather inconveniently, refuse to stand still.

Plants grow, conditions change, ideas evolve and the needs of the people living there change too. Looking after a garden well therefore takes more than keeping it tidy.

The Garden Service is our designer-led approach to ongoing garden care. Horticultural knowledge and design oversight guide the work, so each visit does more than maintain what is already there- it helps the garden continue to develop.

We notice what is changing, what needs attention now and what will need it next. Planting can be refined, gaps resolved, structure strengthened and opportunities introduced gradually as the garden matures.

For our clients, the aim is very simple: you shouldn't have to manage the garden in order to enjoy it

Discuss your project

You don't need to diagnose the garden before getting in touch.

Tell us a little about your home, where the garden is now and what you would like life with it to look like. We can then help establish whether a full design, focused consultancy or ongoing garden care is the most useful place to begin.
