Restricted Planting Palette

We were brought into this project mid-way through the build for last minute guidance on design choices and to create a planting plan, focussing on whites, silvers and purples with a hit of orange-y contrast. Our client's wanted an entertaining space in this compact urban garden, surrounded by stylish planting inspired by Instagram and Pinterest imagery.

Planting with Abundance

Our clients wanted an abundant feel to the planting, with some benefit to pollinators but weren't too sure how to achieve it or what plants would work best. Long season flowering perennials form the back bone of the garden planting design, enveloping and framing the seating areas.

Surrounded by Planting

Contrasting hardscape materials compliment each other and are softened by creeping and colourful ground cover. This in turn brings the planting close to the viewer softening further the seating area and making the most of the limited planting space.
