Towcester New Build Planting Design
Bee Friendly Planting
With a desire from the client to encourage wildlife (in particular bees), a combination of classic lavender and other herbaceous perennials, shrubs and grasses were used to provide year-round interest and appeal to those pollinators. This was also in keeping with a preference to be sympathetic to the English countryside setting of the beautiful, existing stone in the garden and surrounding area.
Japanese Inspired planting
A subtle nod to Japanese plants sits through the planting, lightly expressing the client’s interest in Japanese culture.
Sympathetic to the beautiful garden stone, a combination of classic Lavender, other Herbaceous Perennials, Shrubs and Grasses provide year round interest and appeal.

"Amber was absolutely fantastic at transforming our garden. We had a few very simple idea's which Amber was able to take away and take to the next level. The thought that went into the design of the garden was great and she took the time to understand how we wanted to use the space to ensure we got the best flow of the garden possible. Amber's knowledge of all things plants is quite simply extraordinary, suggesting options all the way through, with explanations as to what each plant would bring to the garden throughout the year and how it would support the local wildlife. The aftercare has been fantastic with a user friendly, detailed guide on how to care for and maintain the garden - definitely needed for someone like me! Couldn't recommend Amber enough for a professional, thorough and considerate approach."
